How to Install EMOS Kiosk from an ISO Image

This Image is only available for the 1GB Solid State Embedded Kiosks.

Warning: Using this Image will overwrite EVERYTHING on the Kiosk.

- Download the Latest ISO image from EMOS Website.
- Burn the ISO Image to CD.
- Power down the Kiosk
- Locate a Standard PC IDE CD ROM Drive and IDE ribbon cable.
- Connect the CDRom drive via the ribbon cable to the connector next to the solid state Hard Disk.
- Power up the Kiosk.
- The software should automatically start copying the image onto the solid state hard disk.
- If the CD doesn't boot, enter the BIOS and set the first boot device to CDROM.
- Once complete, power down the kiosk, remove the cdrom drive and restart the kiosk.


v3.1.1 Kiosk
The Kiosks default computer name is KIOSK.
This version of kiosk software is deisnged to run through the Pharos EDI.
Before attempting to connect the Kiosk to the Pharos EDI install the kiosk
ini_schema.sql script using OSQL, Query Analyser or similar.
Add the new kiosk using Pharos Administrator in the Pharos Station, Network Terminal section.
Then configure the kiosk to use the Pharos EDI
