Bug fixes
This solution release includes fixes for the following issues:
Less aggressive USB device ownership
Changed the software to aquire the first supported device it finds on the bus. This should not interfere with any other MEAP application unless that MEAP app also uses the same USB device for input.
Remove ****************TOGGLING FILES *************** from the logs.
When the log file switches files it emits ****************TOGGLING FILES *************** into the log file hundreds of times. Commented out the line of code that was emitting the string.
Default Email Address Not Supported on iR C2880
Due to firmware issues, the default population of the email field feature is not supported on the iR C2880.
Sample prints do not work on older engines
During engine family testing it was found that the demo package sample files did not print on the following engines:
These are from the older engine families. Because the files are only needed for showing the demo print release application and not used by customers this was an acceptable issue. These are the oldest engines that we support and most trade show or showroom use of the demo will be with the newer devices. The demo still operates but the files do not print when selected.
